Super Healthy Strawberry Chia Jam Recipe
2 cups organic strawberries
¼ cup maple syrup or if you really want to have the best type of sugar use stevia drops
2 Tbsp Chia Seeds or chia bia powder
water as needed
Chop the strawberries. Place strawberries, chia seeds and maple syrup or stevia into a blender or food processor. Blend until it is jam consistency. Add the water ( 1 Tbsp )
Pour contents of blender into a small saucepan and heat over medium heat until the jam begins to bubble. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the jam starts to thicken.
Remove from heat and immediately pour into a mason jar. Allow to cool completely and then store in the fridge for up to one week.
